Head of Department

Prof. Amer Ali Khan is presently working as Associate Professor and HOD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Shadan College of Engineering and Technology, Peerancheru, Hyderabad. He joined Shadan College of Engineering and Technology in the year 2011 and was promoted to the post of HOD on 02-04-2016.

He has almost 10 years of teaching experience overall and 5 years as HOD. He has Completed his Bachelor of Engineering (EEE) from Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology and Completed his Master of Technology(Embedded Systems) from VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has published one research paper in international conference which was scopus indexed(SCI) and another research paper was published in international journal, He has guided one M.Tech project. Some of the innovative B.Tech projects guided by him over the last 10 years are Solar Bike, Solar Inverter, 3D Printer, Surveillance Drone, Segway. Under his guidance as a convener and HOD, the department has conducted various workshop, FDP’s, Webinar and Industrial Visit.

Since taking over as the HOD, along with his staff, he has improved the discipline of the department by introducing dress code for the department and inculcating punctuality and time sense in students and staff. Prof. Amer Ali Khan has a zeal to work hard for the betterment of students and faculty and thereby improvement of the department. He has always guided students and their parents with utmost sincerity and full devotion in their four years of engineering as well as was beside them even after the students passed out to help them procure good jobs and have a good future. He believes in heading the department as a leader who works along with the staff and students rather than commanding like a boss. He believes in decentralized governance.
