PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs)

PO: 1 Engineering knowledge: Graduates are expected to apply knowledge of science and mathematics in civil engineering problems.

PO: 2 Problem analyses: Identify, formulate, research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO: 3 Design/development of solutions Graduates will be able to use modern engineering Software’s, skills and computing tools required for solving various civil engineering problems.

Po: 4 Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO: 5 Modern tool usage Graduates will be able to provide the engineering solutions in effective and ingenious ways by making use of graphs and tables etc.

PO: 6 The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO: 7 Environment and sustainability: Graduates will be able to analyse and design the structures as well as conduct experiments and interpret observations for reporting the results.

PO: 8 Ethics: Graduates are expected to be ethically responsible citizens. Graduates are expected to put civil engineering knowledge in practical.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONALOUTCOMES(PEO’s)

PEO1:To prepare the students in fundamental knowledge in Mathematics, Science, English, Environmental and Engineering Sciences so as to enable them to analyze and solve the Civil Engineering related problems.

PEO2: To be able to play an active part in construction industry under private and public sector or as an entrepreneur for a successful and flourishing professional career.

PEO3: To uprise students about the importance of  teamwork management,  communication skills, moral and ethical values in shaping a fruitful career.
